Our services are tailored to the needs of our mutual clients, and allow bodyshop and garage owners to get on with what they do best, repairing damaged vehicles to their pre-accident standard.
In the 5 years since the brand was launched, 1000’s of motorists have benefited from the services we provide. We have gone from strength to strength as our business has expanded to cover the whole of England and Wales, with particular emphasis on North West England.
Whether you drive taxi or a moped, Instant Action’s business arrangements with specialist vehicle hire companies has allowed us to deliver on our promise to get accident victims into the right car, right away.
Our typical response time from initial referral of a client to provision of hire is well under 24 hours, and in many cases if someone is referred before midday we can send out a replacement hire vehicle that afternoon. This means that come the next morning, they will be able to carry on with their life.
Here’s to the next 5 years!

Instant supports Jelly Bean Kids Appeal
Instant Action, the complete accident management service, is delighted to announce its support for the Jelly Bean Kids 'Bulbs in the Park' appeal. The appeal, run by Wirral NHS trust at Arrowe Park Hospital, aims to raise money for the children's unit at the hospital. Part of the fundraising drive involves transforming an area of parkland in the Arrowe Country park by planting thousands of bulbs in the Jelly Bean Appeal's colours of blue, yellow, pink, white and red.
In order to make the project a reality, Instant Action (In association with Brian Camp & Co. solicitors) hopes to raise 2000 to plant the bulbs. Each bulb costs 2 and all the money raised will go to the Jelly Bean Appeal's fund for the refurbishment of the Children's Development Centre.
The Centre provides support for the 80 children born each year on the Wirral with complex difficulties, such as autism, visual or hearing problems, or cerebral palsy. The centre also monitors the progress of over 400 children every year to ensure the are getting the right help for their needs. The establishment of a new One-Stop assessment facility at the centre will enable all the different needs of developmental analysis to be assessed by several different health professionals in just one visit. The child friendly atmosphere of the new centre will help put the children and their families at ease and make assessments easier too.
Instant Action's Business Development Manager commented The appeal is vital to so many kids' lives and we are proud to have the chance to make a difference.
The bulbs are due to be planted on Saturday 15th September at a family fun day in Arrowe Country Park. For more information, visit the Jelly Bean Appeal website by clicking here.

Recycling drive at Instant Action
Instant Action, the non-fault accident management service, has gone green with a new office based recycling scheme.
Everyone produces waste. In fact, in England and Wales the combination of industry, commerce and household waste amounts to over 434 million tonnes annually. This is equivalent to filling a space the size of the Albert Hall in London twice every hour. Waste from office premises and commercial buildings make up some 6% of the 434 million tonnes total. Government information service Envirowise estimates that the costs associated with disposing this waste typically costs companies 4.5% of their turnover.
Of the waste from offices and commercial premises, around a third is paper, and a further 14% is cardboard. Recycling both of these materials can nearly halve the total waste produced by a company. At the moment in Northwest England, commercial premises recycle around 35% of their waste, with a value of 1 billion per year. In fact, the UK's 76 paper and board mills already use around 74% recycled paper to produce 6.2 million tonnes of paper each year.
Keen to contribute to reducing waste, particularly that sent to landfill, Instant Action have launched a paper and cardboard recycling scheme at its Birkenhead office which collects 12 tonnes of paper a year for recycling. Every tonne of paper recycled saves 30,000 litres of water, and enough electricity to power a 3-bedroom house for a whole year. Also, recycling a tonne of paper produces 95% less air pollution than producing a tonne of virgin paper.
Commenting on the scheme, Instant Actions Business Development Manager said:
By co-ordinating our efforts with local recycling companies we have provided paper and card collection bins throughout our offices. We are also looking to use the local buy recycled schemes to source paper & office supplies.
In the future, we plan to do even more to recycle within the firm. By working with the Merseyside Business Environment Network (Merben) & Groundwork Environmental Business Service we hope to perform an Environmental Audit of the business and identify ways in which we can further increase our recycling and reduce the amount of waste we generate.

Company cars are a classic mistake
Many classic car owners find themselves involved in accidents that weren't their fault. The cost of repairing the car is invariably deemed by insurance companies to be too great, and the unfortunate driver's pride and joy is simply written off. Until now, owners have either had to accept this practice, or buy their own car back from the insurance company in order to organise the repairs themselves. Fortunately, leading non-fault accident management service Instant Action has identified this as a situation in which they could help.
As our Business Development Manager explained: "Many practical classic cars with values under five thousand pounds are written off by insurance companies, even though the actual cost of the repairs don't amount to the value of the car. The problem for the insurance companies is that spares and parts are not easy to source and many bodyshops won't touch classic cars. Being a classic car enthusiast myself, I saw the opportunity to mix business with pleasure and alert the classic car world to our services.
"Instant Action is the complete non-fault accident management service and we pride ourselves on being able to find the nearest possible like-for-like replacement vehicles for drivers whilst their own are being repaired. It's a policy that's thrown up some great challenges, from a 1950s Cadillac to a refrigerated articulated lorry! We've also developed an extremely good network of reliable bodyshops throughout the UK, so we know who is most suitable for a given type of work."
"One of the pleasures of my job is seeing customers who feared the worst, having assumed that their cherished car would be replaced by a cheque, realising that there is an alternative. It is always great to see our team returning a vehicle back to the owner in its pre-accident condition."
